Billy Cofer is our CEO and Office Manager. He has over 30 years experience in the fertilizer formulation business and over 40 years experience in management. He is well known for his custom computer programs for inventory control, fertilizer formulation, and accounting. He has a vast experience in mechanics and electronics. From his teenage through young adult years, he worked in the fertilizer application business driving spreader trucks. He has kept the spirit of the spreader truck alive and is the reason we have them. He is one of our charter employees, and has been paramount to our entire operation's success. He attended IRSC and has put his education to good use. He has been trained by the University of Florida in Global GAP standards.
Bud Cofer is our Sales Manager. He manages our accounts by listening to our customers needs and following through to make sure the customer is getting exactly what they ask for. He also serves as one of our quality control agents, has a pesticide license, and has been trained in application specialties. He has taken citrus classes and IRSC and has a solid understanding of how the grove business works. He has been in application and management for over 15 years. He has been trained by the University of Florida in Global GAP protocols, and knows the system well. He is also very keen on understanding chemical control of pests, especially within the herbiciding system.
John Forget is our Herbicide Application Manager, and one of our quality control agents. He makes sure to provide the customer with a precision application. He knows the business, and knows how to balance the needs of our customers, employees and equipment. He has over forty years experience in personnel and financial management. The timing of herbicide applications is paramount, so his expertise in management is crucial. He has an A.A. degree from IRSC, with an emphasis in accounting. He has also been trained by the University of Florida in Global GAP standards.
| Mike Cofer is our General Manager and Spreading Application Specialist. He has worked in the fertilizer business to some extent the majority of his life. He has a large understanding of how a business works and can balance the needs of our customers, equipment and employees with ease. He is the pivot point for all of our operations. He knows the way fertilizer applications work, and how to maximize productivity to make life easier for the customer. He has a broad knowledge of electronics and utilizes this knowledge to make sure the equipment stays in check. He has been trained by the University of Florida in Global GAP standards.
Cory Cofer is our Technical Consultant and Custom Applications Manager. He has a broad knowledge of the citrus industry and manages our own groves. He has an understanding of pesticide, herbicide, fungicide and nutritional systems in the citrus grove network. He also has a Restricted Use Pesticide license, and has been trained by the University of Florida in Global GAP procedures. He has worked in the business for close to 10 years, and has driven tractors and performed maintenance on them for several years, so he knows what needs to be done to keep things rolling. Cory has an A.A. degree from IRSC with an emphasis in horticulture, and is currently pursuing a B.S. degree from Florida Southern College in Citrus/Business. His specialties include liquid fertilizer applications, keeping machine calibrations in check, and equipment diagnostics. |
